Wow! I can hardly believe that I’ve been blogging for 5 years! When I first started my blog, I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting into. I knew I enjoyed reading blogs. Whenever I visited blogs, I would think, “Hey, I can do this!” but I wasn’t sure if I could. But I jumped in and started blogging, posting my very first post on September 10, 2012. So much has changed since then.
When I first started blogging, I didn’t even know that ‘book blogs’ were a thing. I planned on having a “mommy blog”: sharing about my kids, lifestyle posts, giveaways, and more. I stumbled across book blogging and the rest is history. While I do blog about other topics, including product reviews and giveaways, most of my posts are about books. I love the world I’ve been introduced to through book blogging. It is such a joy to be able to help authors out by sharing their books. This led to a part-time career for me as a virtual assistant. I started The Bee’s Knees VA about one year ago and love being able to work with authors to help them take care of the small things, so they can focus on writing the stories we love.
Blogging is amazing and I can’t picture life without it. My blog wouldn’t exist though without my wonderful readers. Thank you for reading my posts, commenting, sharing, and continuing to support me.
