Day 5 of the 7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge (hosted by Parajunkee) is upon us. Today we are sharing a holiday tradition. One of my favorite holiday traditions is giving my daughters new pajamas on Christmas Eve. It’s so cute to see them in new jammies, and to know they’ll have something cute and new on Christmas morning when they go to open gifts. I’ve been thinking of upping the ante a bit and giving them a Christmas Eve box that includes a few more things: a Christmas movie, some magic reindeer food, popcorn, hot cocoa and their new pajamas. That way, they can sprinkle the magic reindeer food, get cozied up in their jammies, and enjoy a nice evening watching a movie together and snacking before bed. If it doesn’t happen this year, it’s definitely on tap for next year. And either way, they’re getting cute new PJ’s!
What are some of your favorite holiday traditions? (It doesn’t just have to be for Christmas.) I’d love to hear them in the comments below.
One tradition that’s been goinng on for years is the adults get together every Christmas Eve and attend midnight mass. Anotherr is we women get together the second week in December to bake, listening to Christmas music. Happy Holidays
