  2. my day just started and it was horrible, i ran over my dog’s leg while backing out of the driveway! but i guess the good, great, amazing thing is he is perfectly okay. i have a superdog!

  22. My students are finishing up their book clubs. Before reading, I had them anticipate about the book. Now that they are wrapping up, I posed a second anticipation to them: What would the plot focus on if there were a sequel book? I asked this to one particular group today, and I did tell them there actually was a sequel to their book, and my student who has had the top AR points in the entire grade except for one six weeks said:
    “Ms. Anderson, it’s all your fault I’m going to have to go to Barnes & Noble tonight to get the next book.”
    This made my day. She said it in such a sly, joking manner, but it’s so very true – she will!

  31. Best thing today…my toddler and I laughing our heads of at a game of “extreme golf” where the ball ended up everywhere except where it was supposed to go, like in the kitchen sink, for example. I will never get enough of his laugh 🙂

  32. This morning, I got up and had my coffee and watched the deer outside my window they are so neat and pretty, and a good thing that happened is we have a chance of rain this weekend, not storms, hope we do get the rain.

  47. Something good that happened today is that hubby went to McDonalds for breakfast and I did not cook, lol, seriously he is getting the stuff to set our pool up for the season and I am anxious.

  70. My father said he is going to take my mom to Mumbai, in India to stay there in a hotel for 2 nights and show her the places where he used to work when he was in his 20s!!. I am excited for them. Thanks immensely for this giveaway. I am really hoping to win it.
