My Thoughts
I was absolutely delighted to curl up and read Cat About Town by Cate Conte. This is the first book in the new Cat Cafe mystery series, and boy did the author deliver. This cozy mystery had everything I love: a great mystery, a main character I liked, and a cat who was full of personality.
If you are a mystery lover and a cat lover, you will absolutely love this story as much as I did. This mystery kept me guessing. With an unsavory character as the victim, there was no shortage of suspects to keep me wondering who was guilty. JJ the cat stole the show. He was a great addition to the story. I like the hint of romance possibilities in this book as well.
This fun mystery starts off running and had me intrigued from the beginning. I am very much looking forward to the next book in the series.

I love when pets (especially cats) are an integral part of the story.
