I’m going to put this on my calendar so I remember to do it each week. Let me know if you are participating also, I’d love to check out your responses. 🙂

1. I don’t understand why avocado is so popular. I’ve tried it once, in a homemade salad dressing, and I just couldn’t get past the texture. Not a fan of it at all. I’ve never tried guacamole.

2. My in-case-of-emergency person is my boyfriend, Donny.

3. There is so much crazy weather lately! It was in the 60s …

7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge – Day 6

7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge – Day 6

Day 6 is here! The 7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge is being hosted by Parajunkee. Today’s posts are all about our favorite holiday books. This is a tough one. Of course, my all-time favorite is A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. I have an audiobook version narrated by Tim Curry and it is outstanding. My older daughter and I love listening to that leading up to Christmas. I also read two great Christmas themed contemporary romance books this holiday season: Do You Believe In Santa? by Sierra Donovan and The Great Christmas Knit-Off by Alexandra Brown. I really enjoyed them both.

Do you have any favorite holiday books? Let me know in the comments.

7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge – Day 5

7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge – Day 5

Day 5 of the 7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge (hosted by Parajunkee) is upon us. Today we are sharing a holiday tradition. One of my favorite holiday traditions is giving my daughters new pajamas on Christmas Eve. It’s so cute to see them in new jammies, and to know they’ll have something cute and new on Christmas morning when they go to open gifts. I’ve been thinking of upping the ante a bit and giving them a Christmas Eve box that includes a few more things: a Christmas movie, some magic reindeer food, popcorn, hot cocoa and their new pajamas. That way, they can sprinkle the magic reindeer food, get cozied up in their jammies, and enjoy …

7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge – Day 3

7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge – Day 3

Here we are at day 3 of the 7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge. Parajunkee is hosting this fun blogging challenge, and you can check out her blog to link up. 🙂

Today we are talking about our favorite holiday photo moment. This is a tough one for me, as I’ve had so many wonderful holiday photo moments. I’m going to share a picture from my four year old’s preschool Christmas program a few weeks ago. Her teachers took a photo of us at the program, mod-podged it onto painted canvas & attached magnets to the back to make a sweet keepsake for us. My only regret with the photo is that my older daughter, Keira, is not in it. …

7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge – Day 2

7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge – Day 2

It’s Day 2 of the 7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge hosted by Parajunkee. Yes, I just posted Day 1. But, I didn’t realize the challenge was going on until just now. O:) So, from here on out, one post a day about the 7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge. Today’s post is sharing your favorite holiday scene from a book.

I adore classic moments, like in A Christmas Carol when Ebenezer Scrooge has his epiphany. But I wanted to share one of my more recent favorite holiday scenes. I recently read Do You Believe In Santa? by Sierra Donovan. I absolutely adored this Christmas contemporary romance. I reviewed it HERE and shared an excerpt, which …

7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge – Day 1

7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge – Day 1

Parajunkee is hosting an awesome 7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge. 🙂 I’m excited to participate! On the first day of the 7 Day Holiday Blogging Challenge we are discussing gifts that we are giving this year.

One of my favorite parts of the holiday season is seeing the joy on a loved one’s face when they receive a gift. One fun gift we are giving away this year is solid lotion bars. My awesome boyfriend made a big batch of these over the weekend, and we will be giving these to our family members. We have cute little snowmen, Santa and trees. I love that we have a unique gift to give out.

What fun …
