Enemies on Tap by Avery Flynn is the first in a new contemporary series about the Sweet Salvation Brewing Company. I.freakin.LOVED.it! Miranda Sweet comes back to her hometown of Salvation after learning that she and her sisters have inherited the floundering Sweet Salvation Brewing Company. The Sweet family are somewhat notorious in Salvation as wild, bad luck and just generally in trouble all of the time, though Miranda and her two sisters are not necessarily like that. (side note: I liked that Miranda was a triplet, I thought that added an interesting flair to the story.)
Other than their bad family history in town, Miranda also has to deal with the super hot boy who broke her heart: Logan Martin. The Sweets and the Martins have a long history of feuding. Being in charge of the local bank with his father, Logan is in a position to deny Miranda the funds she needs to turn the brewery around. But he doesn’t count on falling for her harder than he knew possible.
This story is sassy, sexy, hot and humorous. I highlighted so many parts in this book while reading…Avery really nails it with these characters, the settings and the flow of the story. I cannot wait to read the next one. Fantastic!
I received an ARC for review purposes.
