Yvonne at Socrates’ Book Reviews hosts another awesome challenge: Finishing the Series Reading Challenge 2015. I love this challenge because it’s flexible and it allows you to revisit a series that you may have abandoned for whatever reason. This year I will be aiming for Level 1: (Novice series reader) – Complete 1 series. I want to read The Rules of Scoundrels series by Sarah MacLean. This is historical romance, which is one of my favorite genres. I am halfway through book 1, which I started reading on January 1st. I’ve loved what I read so far, and can’t wait to read through this series. There are four books in this series:
A Rogue by Any Other Name
One Good Earl Deserves a Lover
No Good Duke Goes Unpunished
Never Judge a Lady by Her Cover
I’ll update this post with my progress throughout the year. Read below for a general outline of the rules. If you’d like to participate, please click the banner at the top of this post to head to Socrates’ Book Reviews for full challenge information and to sign up. Let me know if you’re participating in this challenge!
Finishing the Series Reading Challenge 2015
1) The Rule of Scoundrels series by Sarah MacLean
Rules
All books that are part of a continuing series qualify (i.e. Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove, Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum, James Patterson’s Alex Cross, etc. etc.)It doesn’t matter if you have 1 or 10 books in a series to complete it, it qualifies (i.e. if you only need to read one more Sookie Stackhouse book to complete the goal, that’s fine) The goal is to complete a series from wherever you are up to until the last published book.
The qualification period is January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015. Books must be read during this time frame to count.
Any format of book counts – print, audio, ebook, etc.
You don’t have to have a blog to participate – you can join the Goodreads group here.
I did this challenge and it was excellent. I caught up on a bunch of series so I’m doing it again this year.
Awesome! Good luck with your challenge, Bea. 🙂 I’m just signing up for completing one series right now, since I have so many other challenges going on.
