G is for Grandmas! My Grandma Ginny has always been there for me. Ever since I was little, I would spend all the time I could with her and my Pappy Art. I moved in with her when I was 14 to help her take care of my grandfather, and so I could be close enough to walk to school activities. My grandfather passed away when I was 15, and I still miss him every day. I wish he could have met my children! He would have loved them.

Grandma Ginny may be a little thing (she comes in at under 5′ tall :)) but what she lacks in height, she makes up for in spunk. She is always on the go and doesn’t understand the meaning of the word ‘retire’. She was born on Valentine’s Day, and she is one of the great loves of my life. I can’t imagine how I would have made it through without her. She gives without consequence and loves her family as much as we love her. I enjoy spending time with her and having my children spend time with her as well. I love you, Grandma Ginny!
Do you have fond memories of your grandfather or grandmother? I’d love to hear them in the comments. 🙂
