You know you watch too much Law and Order: SVU when…
I fell in love with Law and Order SVU after my son was born. I binge watched seasons one through nine while nursing, napping, diaper changing, whatever…I was obsessed.
But some of the episodes are over the top, and it was one of those episodes that inspired the relationship between Angel, Dani, and Angel’s mother, Mrs. Ramirez.
In the episode, Haystack, a woman finds her baby has been kidnapped, but the police and reporters suspect foul play. When the mother kills herself, they realize that the baby was kidnapped by his biological father and grandmother. And that grandma was a real piece of work!
For Hannah, who was told by her boyfriend, Angel, that he wanted nothing to do with her or their unborn child, she is doing everything she can to care for her son, Noah and give him the best possible life. But when Angel mentions he saw Hannah and Noah to his mother, she sees Noah as a second chance to raise the son she always wanted.
The thing is, you never know what will inspire you and considering how crazy the world is, nearly any storyline can be made realistic. Keep reading, watching, and living. And always write from the heart…your editors will tell you when you’re really crazy.
