I live in eastern Ohio, very close to Pittsburgh, PA. I have fond memories of visiting the Kennywood Amusement park when I was younger. My boyfriend and I were able to take our daughters to Kennywood last summer. This book is filled with illustrations of Kennywood’s earlier days, along with lots of information about its growth since being built in the 1890s. As someone who has visited Kennywood several times, this was an enjoyable read. I liked the trip down memory lane and the author shared lots of photos and information I otherwise might not know.
I selected this book from the library. This is a short review to track my books read and keep up on challenges.
