Well, I can’t speak for all of us authors, but I do all the things most wives and mothers do. This morning, I picked up the dishes that didn’t make it into the sink last night. Then I ran the dog to the groomer’s. From there I drove to Walmart and bought more laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, and washcloths. (All of my dishcloths have mysteriously disappeared. I don’t want to point fingers, but I’m wondering if my son’s girlfriend’s pit bull ate them. Just speculating here!) At Walmart, I splurged and bought myself breakfast, a cup of coffee and a sausage burrito. At two bucks and change, it filled my tummy.

Back at the house, I sorted laundry. I taught my husband to use our new washer. He argued with me over the temperature of the wash. I rolled my eyes (secretly) and said, “Yes, dear.” Then I did what I wanted.
Now I’m busy at my computer, churning out blog posts for my upcoming blog tour.
