I found Murder at the River Bend Retirement Resort by Stan Schatt to be a fun, quick read. I immediately found myself drawn into the world of not-quite-senior sleuth Miriam Lipsky as she tries to find out whodunit. The book and characters felt real. I enjoyed the humor in the story.

There is some mild cursing in this book. Not frequently, and not enough to turn me away from such a fun mystery.
