I took my Kindle to bed to ‘start’ Shadow Ranch by Robin Covington – I not only started it, I finished it. I received an early copy of Shadow Ranch (though I have preordered my copy of The Sutherlands anthology!). This is Robin’s first m/m romance, and the first m/m romance I’ve read. I’m so glad Robin was my first! 😉 This story was hot, hot, hot.
Eli Sutherland heads back to Shadow Ranch after the death of his mother. He’s in a low place, having just gotten out of a bad relationship. Things start to look up when he meets Shep Lockwood, Texas Ranger. He and Shep had met once before, when Eli was just a teenager.
Shadow Ranch by Robin Covington packs a punch from page one. There is a lot that happens in this little novella. I loved the action and suspense and the romance was out-of-this-world. I’m sure I’m not the only one wishing there was a full length novel full of Eli and Shep.
