Meet Myrna Savage

Hi-do! There’s nothing like getting a beautiful wildflower Kentucky mix delivered straight to your room. I’m sorry this is a little late. My delivery driver, Owen Godbye ain’t no count. He’s been forgetting deliveries. When he does remember, he’s late. He’s been late to work a few times this week.

Now, I’m not one to pack too many tales and you’re not from here so I don’t mind telling you, because who are you going to blab too?

Anyways, I heard he’s in a bad financial way. I’m not sure why because his mama, God bless her soul, left them with a fine Okra farm and if he’d and his kin folk could just see eye-to-eye, then I think he’d be able to pay for all that medication.

Oops. Did I say medication? Well, I did hear that he was sick. But that ain’t your problem. It’s mine. Because he was supposed to deliver these over the weekend.

Well, happy Monday. Enjoy your stay in Cottonwood.

By the way, I’m Myrna Savage. I’m the proprietor of Pedal Pushers and the president of the Beautification Committee. Now, you let me know if you see somethin’ that needs beautifying. I’m not sayin’ I’m gonna fix it, I’ll just note it.
