Cure for the Common Breakup by Beth Kendrick is a story that runs the gamut of feelings, but still manages to be a light-hearted read. This is a fabulous summer/beach read. Right from the beginning of the book, you know you are not in for your typical breakup story. Summer heads to Black Dog Bay to heal her wounds after a tough break-up. She finds that the town is more than it seems and the people are as well. Summer also realizes that maybe her vision of herself is skewed.
