Murder with a Slice of Cheesecake by Laura Pauling is a prequel to the Holly Hart mystery series. This is a novella length book. While the mystery and sleuthing in this book were choppy and didn’t really come together very well, I did enjoy getting introduced to the characters and learning more about Holly Hart.
