My Sunshine Away by M.O. Walsh is a novel that captivated me from the start. The author’s beautiful prose drew me in more than anything. Walsh is a gifted storyteller with the ability to share a haunting tale in a way that you will not forget.
I loved the setting of the story and thought the street seemed as if it was its own character. I could almost feel the sweltering Louisiana summer around me as I read. I thought the author took a very interesting approach with the narrator of the story and it really worked. I stayed up well past my bedtime to finish this one.
