Historical romances are some of my very favorite books – it’s one of my favorite sub genres. An Heiress For All Seasons by Sophie Jordan is a smart, sophisticated historical with a holiday touch. Violet Howard, an American heiress, is in Great Britain to catch a husband – much to her annoyance. Her mother orchestrated her season and wants her to marry into British aristocracy. Violet is stubborn and convinced that her parents will some day relent and allow her to marry her father’s assistant. Violet doesn’t want someone to marry her simply for her fortune.
