Wonderland by Robert McKay is a futuristic, science fiction retelling that gives us a whole new perspective on Alice. I was intrigued when I read the description and, being a fan of Alice, I knew I wanted to check this one out. I thought that it was an interesting and unique retelling. The author is imaginative and I was impressed with the descriptions and the set-up of this version of Wonderland. The beginning seemed a bit rushed. I felt Alice seemed much older than 13. I enjoyed the story and would be interested in reading further stories in the Intergalactic Fairy Tale series.
