Wow! The Shattered Islands Part One: The Rakam by Karpov Kinrade blew.me.away. In the first novella-length installment of their new epic fantasy series, Karpov Kinrade has done it again. Done what? What they do every single time they put words down: create an incredible story filled with characters that I am instantly loving in a book I can’t put down until I finish. And then, I am sad that I have finished, especially when I can’t immediately move on to the next book in a series. Kinrade has imagined a world unlike any I’ve read before. This novella had it all: mystery, fantasy and the sea. I devoured this story and instantly wanted more. I cannot wait for the next part in this series!
