Even if you haven’t read the earlier books in the series, you can still enjoy this fast, hot read. Caroline and Mitch are investigating the disappearance of a senator’s daughter – which isn’t easy when Las Vegas is so full of secrets and unsavory characters.
I loved Caroline and Mitch’s banter, innuendo and heated encounters. Even when they’re not supposed to be seen as knowing each other, they can’t help but be drawn to one another. And they certainly have trouble toning down the fire burning between them.
I love reading novellas this time of year – with everything so busy, it’s nice to have a quick, sexy read that has enough action to keep my heart pounding…but doesn’t take a long time to read. This story has action, excitement, heat and even a little romance. If you love your romance novellas sexy and snarky, you should definitely check out Undercover Justice by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano.
