Love.
Who do you think of when you see this image? When you hear the word love? I immediately think of my boyfriend, Donny. We have been together for 7+ years. Most days, it doesn’t seem that long at all. I believe that sometimes, when you see a person, you just know. You can just tell that they are going to be more for you than other people. You know they are going to have an incredible impact on your life story. I felt that way with Donny right from the beginning.
The world seems like a better place when you love someone. Colors are brighter. You see beauty where you didn’t see it before. You have a feeling of hope. As love matures, there is a wonderful feeling of settling into your relationship. You may become comfortable, yet you still feel an unparalleled connection. That is one of my favorite things about a mature relationship. I love our love. I am comfortable and confident in our relationship.
Love is something that people long for; fight for; spend their whole lives looking for. It cannot be bought. You cannot put a price on it. Anyone can have it; it is not limited to class, race or gender. I think that is what makes it so valuable. I know that I will probably never be famous. I’ll never be a millionaire. I’m rich where it matters most: in love.
