CassieScot_medCassie Scot is the ungifted daughter of powerful sorcerers, born between worlds but belonging to neither. At 21, all she wants is to find a place for herself, but earning a living as a private investigator in the shadow of her family’s
reputation isn’t easy. When she is pulled into a paranormal investigation, and tempted by a powerful and handsome sorcerer, she will have to decide where she truly belongs.

Review
After reading Cassie Scot: ParaNormal Detective, I have become a fan of Christine Amsden! What a fun, fresh take on the paranormal realm! There were witches, sorcerers, vampires…I loved it! Cassie Scot was unfortunately born without a shred of magical powers…into one of the more powerful magical families in her town. She starts her own detective agency, with the intent of solving normal cases only. But when a young girl is murdered, and tempers start to flare, Cassie takes on the task of trying to solve the mystery. If you like paranormal stories, I highly recommend Cassie Scot: ParaNormal Detective!

  1. Thanks so much for hosting a review! I’m glowing today because of all the wonderful things people have to say about Cassie. It’s been an awesome release day.

Secrets and Lies, book 2, expected to come out this fall — so there’s not the usual 1-5 year wait on a sequel. 🙂

    1. You’re quite welcome! Thank you for allowing me to review and for introducing me to Cassie. 🙂 Definitely looking forward to the next book!!
