I had the chance to interact with them online and they were both just kind, wonderful people. They had a way of making you feel special and appreciated…and they’re both so very special. Putting on the Witch by Joyce and Jim Lavene is the third book in the Retired Witches Mystery series. There is so much I love about this series. The magic brings the story to such a fun place; I really love that element. I really enjoy the characters and the setting of Wilmington, NC. Since reading the first book in the series, I have had the opportunity to visit Wilmington, and it was a delight to hear names of places I’d been.
This exciting magical cozy series will have you turning pages as fast as you can. The magic and mystery are intricately weaved together, creating a fascinating story that holds your attention from the very first page. I didn’t want to put it down. The Retired Witches Mystery series is one of my very favorite stories from the Lavenes. I loved every magical word.
