Dead Sprint by Caroline Fardig

Dead Sprint by Caroline Fardig

Right from the prologue, Dead Sprint jumps out as a thrilling murder mystery. Just the first few pages hooked me. This is the first Ellie Matthews book I’ve read, but I was still able to enjoy the story. Though I do think this series would best be enjoyed in order – I definitely want to delve more into the characters’ backstories.

In this book, a smart and dangerous killer is on the loose – and may even be coming after Ellie. The characters really drive the story and I liked the uniqueness of the plot. The book was exciting and felt different than others I have read. It felt like I was reading a story that I might watch on …

Love At Last by Claudia Connor – Release Day Review + Blitz

Love At Last by Claudia Connor – Release Day Review + Blitz

My Thoughts

Love At Last by Claudia Connor is a fun, sexy story of love discovered, lost, and discovered again. If you’re looking for a sweet romance with big family dynamics to lose yourself in, you can’t go wrong with a Claudia Connor book. This one is no exception.

There were a couple of issues I felt with the timeline of the story – it felt like we jumped ahead and characters made some strange choices at some parts – but overall this is a wonderful story that I found myself really enjoying. Black Arts, Tarts and Gypsy Carts by Erin Johnson

Black Arts, Tarts and Gypsy Carts by Erin Johnson

Character Interview with Imogen

It’s amazing! Everyday is whirlwind, baking for the royal family’s meals, special events and parties. I have to wash the flour out of my hair every night and my legs ache from standing all day, but it’s my favorite place in the world. I get to make special treats that make people happy and everyday’s a new adventure.

2. What is your favorite part of having magic?
I think I’d enjoy having magic a lot more if I was any good at it! It seems like every spell I try is a disaster. But I must say, practicing with Hank is a big plus.

3. How are you liking life on …

Seashells, Spells & Caramels by Erin Johnson – Review + 2 Giveaways

Seashells, Spells & Caramels by Erin Johnson – Review + 2 Giveaways

My Thoughts

Seashells, Spells & Caramels is the first book in a new paranormal cozy mystery series by Erin Johnson. I quickly found myself drawn into this magical tale. Imogen has been saving for years chasing her dream of opening her very own bakery. But when her dreams go up in smoke, she’s forced to reevaluate. She isn’t quite sure how she managed to enter a magical baking contest, but the ability to go to the contest presents itself at exactly the right time.

I totally loved this magical cozy mystery. I loved Imogen and Maple. Iggy was also an awesome character on his own. This was such a great story. I didn’t want to put it down. …
