A Special Anniversary
By Amanda Flower

June 16, 2015 marks my fifth anniversary of being a published author. In 2010, my first mystery novel, Maid of Murder, released. It was a novel that took nine years to get published. To my surprise, it got wonderful reviews and an Agatha Award nomination for Best First Novel right out of the gate. My fifth anniversary will be an important day for me because it will mark how far I’ve come in a very short period of time. In five years, I have published thirteen novels for five different publishers, signed hundreds of books, …

Double Duplicity by Paty Jager – Review + Giveaway @patyjag

Double Duplicity by Paty Jager is the first book in the Shandra Higheagle mystery series. I was really looking forward to reading a unique cozy with Native American characters and history woven in. I was pulled in right away with the culture and the small-town setting. This was a really enjoyable and well-written cozy mystery. I’m a fan of Shandra and look forward to reading further installments in this series.

At the request of her friend Evie Peppernell, recently divorced Carleigh Warner and her young daughter Lucy have come to the plantation house to refurbish the interior.
